Merry Christmas Friends,

Create a one-of-a-kind bow to help make any gift a bit more festive.

Materials Needed:

• fabric (fat quarters work best)
• interfacing
• stapler
• glue gun
• scissors
• iron

Cut Interfacing to Fabric Size
Cut fabric interfacing – this project used Wonder Under - to 8x20 inches. Iron the "right" side of the interfacing to the "wrong" side of the fabric. Let fabric cool then peel paper from interfacing that is now affixed to the fabric. Place another piece of 8?20 fabric "right" side up on the top of the "wrong" side, with the interfacing sandwiched in the middle and then iron together.



Cut Fabric Strips
Use scissors to cut fabric into 9 strips: Three 10" strips, three 9" strips, two 8" strips and one 6" strip.



Create Loops
Starting with the first 10" strip of fabric, make a loop on one end with the tail meeting up in the middle. Flip the fabric over and do the same with the opposite end until the tails meet in the middle and overlap slightly.



Secure Loop in Place
Place a staple or two to secure the two loops then repeat with the rest of your strips.



Make Layers
Starting with the largest loop (the 10" ribbon),layer each loop in a criss-cross pattern. Add a dab of hot glue in the middle to secure.



Finish Layers
Continue layering (largest to smallest) in the criss-cross pattern until you have used all of the 10”, 9”, and 8” loops. With the 6” strip of fabric, make a simple loop for the center of your bow. Secure with a staple or a dab of hot glue. You now have a stunning fabric bow.
