Hi Friends,

Get ready for some serious wedding envy—styled by First Comes Love Events designer Katie Kalafat, this seaside soirée is upping the ante in a major way.

Vows & Views

The navy waters highlight the varied, eclectic design of each chair, with driftwood and cream-colored flowers lining the aisle.

Seaside Seats

The collection of weathered, white-washed seating appears organic, nestled into the sand for a cliffside ceremony.

Shining Sea, Sparkling Ring

A close-up of the the bride's rose gold engagement ring and the promise of "i do" marks the beginning of swoon-worthy seaside wedding day.

Watercolor Details

Invitations and envelopes display stormy grey watercolor and soft, hand-painted calligraphy. These delicate touches mimic the movement of the sea and offer guests a glimpse into the romantic evening soon to come.

Treasure Tray

A driftwood name plate, scattered sea glass and the bride’s stunning engagement ring compliment hand-lettered paper pieces on a weathered metal tray. The results? A sentimental, sea-inspired snapshot of the big day.

Bright White & Bridal Blooms

This beachside bridal bouquet overflows with creamy, white peony blooms, luxuriously leafy vines, white astilbe, scabiosa pods and prickly grey thistle for added depth and texture.

Elegant Enhancement

The bridesmaids’ arrangements compliment the bride's bountiful bouquet, featuring a textured, white queen protea bloom and green foliage. Together the wedding flowers are neutral and airy, enhancing the seaside’s natural beauty and adding to the overall elegance of the day.

Something Blue

To say "I do", tradition calls for a "something blue". A pale blue vow booklet pairs with its deep navy counterpart to fit the bill, sure to be a treasured keepsake for many years to come.

Painted Promises

Hand-painted in soft, waving script, the bride’s vows are reminiscent of the sea. A photograph captures her most romantic and meaningful promises, gifting the couple a reminder of their magical day.

(Mis)Match Made in Heaven

The theme of eclectic elegance continues from the ceremony into the reception. Mismatched and white-washed chairs tuck into a vintage, rustic table. Bountiful white blossoms fill its center and sweeping sea-views serve as an utterly breathtaking backdrop for an unforgettable evening.

Linen Menu

Soft and breathable, linen has long been a staple in our summer luggage. As it turns out, linen also makes for an exceptional, beachy backdrop for the hand-lettered reception menus. Against the saturated blue velvet, the carte de jour is rustic, romantic and ethereal.

Power in Numbers

Worn, metallic table numbers are especially pretty pointers for guests, nestled against the reception's free-flowing centerpieces. Their silvery paint adding a touch of glamour to the intimate seaside soirée.

Driftwood Direction

A rustic wood table showcases the reception's shiny white china and classic, crystal stemware. White calligraphy scrolls across the driftwood to create a beachy and beautiful place card.

Stylish Sips

Guests sip and swig from classic, crystal stemware that features a little textured twist. The glassware bares a patterned design, contrasting the minimalistic white china and cutlery to create a balanced tablescape that appears completely effortless and totally beautiful.
