The 25 Days of Christmas Day 15: Welcome Your Guest in Style Complimented by Red Cinnamon Apples Recipe

Greet guests with a beautiful holiday display in your entry. Drape lighted garland and damask along the staircase's banister and top the landing with a bedecked tree. You know how to celebrate the season in style welcome your guest to enjoy it with you!

Ingredients:
1 dozen wooden craft sticks
1/2 cup corn syrup
1 dozen small firm apples
1 cup water
1 teaspoon red coloring
2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon flavoring

Directions:
Boil water, syrup, and sugar together until a brown caramel color is reached (at about 250 degree F). Remove from the heat and add cinnamon and red coloring. Cool slightly. Meanwhile force a stick into the core of each apple. Dip the apples one at a time into the heavy red syrup, drain well, and place on a buttered baking sheet to cool.
