Thanksgiving Tree Centerpiece

Courtesy of Emily Allison

Hi Friends,

From Halloween to Thanksgiving, celebrate the season with this simple centerpiece idea...

Materials Needed:
  • 3-5 large branches
  • spray paint (optional)
  • 2-4 pieces of card stock with fall motif
  • scissors or 1 1/2" craft hole punch
  • large Mason jar
  • pebbles, sand or other filler
  • twine or ribbon

Paint Branches

First, paint the branches with gold metallic spray paint.

Cut Circles

Then, cut out circles on some pretty card stock with a little paper punch. A paper punch isn't necessary — you can cut circles or whatever shape you like from a template.

Write Out Blessings

Then, write messages on the back of each of the shapes.

Fill Jar and Add Branches

After you add the filler to the jar, add branches and hang the circles on the tree.

Make it a family project...
